Welcome to just a few of my innermost thoughts and ideas. They have been held captive in journals, binders, and phone notes over the years. I am a Louisiana native who loves Jesus, walks by faith, not by sight, and will happily live on cupcakes and french fries (if allowed). Something about the poetry of Tupac and Khalil Gibran speaks to my soul. I’m an educator with over twenty years of experience as a middle school teacher, librarian, and educational technologist in higher education. I enjoy writing poetry, short stories, children’s books, plays, and fiction infused with hope. Writing on my patio is like going to therapy for free and taking my dog!
